Default Help and Vision!

I should start off with what my goal is.
To host my own custom EQ server, much in the likes of Shards of Dalaya.
I have very little knowledge with servers, scripts, etc. But willing to tackle this as a passion project.

I have started with the guide located at https://eqemu.gitbook.io/server/cate...lation-windows.

I cannot seem to get it to work with my server either showing on the normal EQEmu server list, or via my own IP address as the host.
On one of the fixes listed in the Guide it tells me to edit the local_network part of the "EQEmuServer: (login.ini)" - BUT, what it shown on the guide is not what is in my login.ini document itself, which i'm guessing is a large culprit.

So the first issue is even getting this thing loaded so I can even start to learn and work around.

After that, wondering what kind of programs/things I should be researching to be able to edit zones completely. NPCs, items, spells, AAs, etc.

Thank you for any help!
