Default Stun and med?

Question: does anyone know, if you have been Stunned by a long duration stun, can you just sit down and meditate while it lasts? (not taking into account if anyone is actualy beating on you)

Or does Stun effect prevents meditation?

On live, you couldn't sit when stunned.

On live, you pretty much couldn't do anything while stunned. I noticed with eqemu, you can still taunt and riposte, which I don't think was possible on live.

well I come up with a custom spell idea called Ice Vault for mages.

The idea that is you encase yourself within ice removing threat of melee attack, but unable to run away. Such spell would be great in group where you draw too much agro and quickly "vault" yourself untill your tank gets agro back. Sort of mage version of Divine Aura. (I do not want to make it actual Divine Aura effect cuase I do not want it to protect you from spells.)

So the spell should on one hand give you Runeshield, on other hand prevent movement.

First I wanted you make it rune+ root, then then problem becomes that root is too easily broken if someone nukes you, effectivly cuasing entire spell to fade.

Thats why I am thinking to go with a Rune+Stun. Stun however not a perfect option, cuase I stil want you to be able to cast spells (maybe)

ANother alternative solution is to go Rune+ Snare (like -100% snare)

On other hand, I do not want you to be able to melee neither.
Perhaps I should add Fragile property to the spell

Haven't tried with normal stun, but I do know that you can sit while being spin stunned on live. Also, there are a few effects that proc a FD + Stun and you can stand up from the prone position while stunned.

On live from what I remember you could stand out of stun, but not sit.

Automatic functions like dodge parry and riposte would trigger while stunned, but nothing that required player interaction except sitting to clear that gawd awful spin.

If you will remember, wizards after harvest while that long duration stun was on could sit down.
