Default Crashing attempting to zone

I've been trying every home remedy I could find on the Eqemu forums and nothing seems to work. I'll detail the problem I am having.

When I log into the game it seems to be 50/50 if I actually make it into the game or not. Then every time I zone there is even less chance that I make it through. I get loading please wait then the blue loading bar appears but I never make it to the other side I've waited over 30 mins and came back and still frozen.

I have three computers and this issue happens with all three. 2 are laptops and 1 is desktop. Laptops are WIFI and desktop is ethernet plugged in.

Desktop and 1 laptop are windows 7. Other laptop is windows 8. I tried running in compatibility mode xp service pack 2 and 3 and that causes the client to crash immediately.

All three computers are multicore so I made them run EQ with single core and no change.

I've tried Underfoot and Titanium on all three computers with and without updating the files

I tried doing multiple resolutions including the native. I've tried windowed and fullscreen. Ive also tried wineq program.

With all this I still have the same problem and I crashed more than half the time I try to zone (including first login).

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm now at my wits end =(

I cleared my dbg file and loaded up a server. I wanted to isolate the problem and I got it on the first try. This is a crash and what appears in the dgb. I hope this will show some glaring problem that I can fix =)

To me it looks like its as simple as there being no Zone Connect. I don't know what I'm looking at here but I know they aren't the same lol. The zone connect message is missing and Im thinking that is pretty important.

That is a specific point in the zoning or logging in process of the client where it is waiting for a particular packet from the server. I think that only exists on SoF+ clients, but there is a similar packet on Titanium as well at the same point. It is called something like OP_WorldObjectsSent if I recall correctly.

Either way, if you are missing that packet from the server, I think the most likely cause is that you are experiencing packet loss or some type of networking issue where maybe the server cannot keep up. Does the same issue happen on all servers, or just your own or a particular server?

I would suggest trying all hard wired connections instead of wireless networking, as you are sure to have more packet loss on wireless.

I would also highly recommend to not login or zone more than 1 character at a time. When zoning multiple, it is known to cause random zoning client crashes like that and even more-so if they are on Wireless connections.

Thank you for the response!

Packet loss seems like the only logical conclusion which makes me sad indeed. That's not something I can correct from what I read. If I'm already plugged in, what else can I do?

Also why is this not an issue on live eq? I box 3-6 accounts on live and never crash at all. Zone all 6 at the same time ect.

I plugged it in directly to the modem bypassing the router and still crashing.

I've been searching multiple forums but I can't fix this as of yet =x
