Default Cant full screen, resolution issues

I am running Windows 7.

I can only play EQ by having the resolution set at 800X600 when my screen has 1600x1200 capabilities. when trying to play at higher resolutions the game wont start going to a black box. shooting up various errors, or it crashes. I also have to start it in 640x480 in startup and ALT-ENTER out to desktop.

What can I do to utilize my screen.
800x600 isnt much to work with.
This is all I could find to do to even ply the same.

You should be able to change your resolution to one of the resolutions supported by EQ in your options from in game and it should work. I am guessing you are running Titanium and it just doesn't support many of the higher resolutions that are supported today on current PCs. If you aren't on a server that is restricted to only using Titanium (such as P99), you can always upgrade to the SoD or UF client and you won't have that issue anymore.
