Default UF client will not connect. HELP!!

I just recently acquired the UF client and after a struggle finally got to the login screen but when i enter my user and password that i have been using with Titanium for years it will not establish a connection.

What port did you use in eqhost.txt? Should be 5999, not 5998 or whatever Titanium used.

I'm having this problem with an HoT client that was pre-patched to work with eqemu

There is no HoT client compatible with the emulator. Did you mean Underfoot?

You'll have to explain what "pre-patched" means.

Thank You! c0ncrete for thinking of me but it wasn't mine i did rewrite the server code too allow all current clients. i will not pass around software but i would give my server code changes if interested as for allowing all clients nothing more they must compile it and over write the default server code.
