Default Worn Item Regeneration Cap

The default value in rule_values for Character:ItemHealthRegenCap of 15 seemed lower than I remembered it being.
Best source I could find was:
http://samanna.net/gen.info/buffs.shtml
Samanna's Reference Desk AND The Spirit Realm
Worn Effect Caps (table)
Regeneration 35 (more with AAs): Regen AAs stack

Some sites said the cap went up at higher levels but couldn't find any solid numbers on that.

I remember mana regen capped to 15 (at the end of luclin, maybe PoP as well?) and hp regen being more like 25 at the same time.

Yeah, they used to call it the FT (Flowing Thought) cap I think and it was indeed 15 in the Luclin/PoP eras. It was probably increased at some point after that, but that was the worn item mana regen cap at the time. You can always adjust it if you want faster. Just keep in mind that 15 is/was not the cap for total mana regen, just the cap for worn mana regen. You could still get natural regen bonuses, meditate bonus, resting bonus, spell buff bonuses, etc.

Yea it's the Health regen cap default that I think is lower than live for the Expansions we are using on eqemu. For a SK or Necro using Lich forms for mana regen its a big detriment having the worn health regen cap be lower than intended.

Oops, I misread that as if you were referring to mana... Yeah, if health regen is set to 15 as the cap, I believe you are correct and it is probably set too low. It was probably more like 25-40ish.
