Default EQ Wont detect graphic card

Hi All,

I had noticed my game was running a little slow and I know my graphic card can take it, so I checked my options and saw that eq was using the on board intel card and it wasn't detecting the actual card. I am running it on my laptop with a GeForce GT540M. I have tried several different drivers with the same result. The only thing I can think of was that the version of eq i am running was copy and pasted off my desktop, so it wasn't properly installed on this machine. Could that be the problem? (wanted to ask before I reinstalled)

Thanks

If you are not already doing so, obtain the drivers from Nvidia rather than using what Microsoft is installing.

Are you able to select an adapter in the NVIDIA control panel? I don't have a machine with multiple adapters to experiment with, but you can assign a lot of settings there (both globally and on a per-program basis).

You can right-click on your desktop and select the control panel from the menu.
