Default Server not showing up?

Okay, I poked around for a while, and found some similar problems to mine, they didn't work, so, as a last resort, here goes:

Got the new cvs compiled, everthing works great. World starts up fine, zone starts fine, no errors. Disabled my firewall a did a port scan on myself, everthing there is fine as well, but my server does not show up on my server list. I have had a server up and running with my current config, (internet connection, computer, and os.) Standard cable modem, no router, but like I said, ports are open. Any ideas as to what could be preventing me from seeing my server? (possibly latest patch problem?) When I login i can only see the 3-4 test servers, the public test server, and a few other 5.8 servers. Obviously since i am using the cvs my version is also 5.8. Am I overlooking something? Possibly mis-configuring?? Like i siad though, everything seems to connect just fine, no errors connecting to the login server through world.exe. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Just for lookings sake, here is all my stuff:

You've got an error in your Loginserver.INI

Quote:
loginserver=login1.eqemulator.net
loginserver2=login2.eqemulator.net
loginport=5995
loginport2=5995
should be

Code:
loginserver=login1.eqemulator.net
loginserver2=login2.eqemulator.net
loginport=5996
loginport2=5996
The 5.8 server uses port 5996, 5995 is for 5.7.

Also make sure your Eqhost.txt is

Code:
[Loginserver]
eqemulator.net:5996
Just to make sure you're viewing the serves connected to the right loginserver =). Try that and see what happens.

Well the server not showing up happened to me many times before and i started freaking out. But if you log out and log back on sometimes it will be there. Well this happens when they are rebooting the server. Usually a gm warns us before the reboot so this problem doesn't happen to many people. Well if the server does NOT show back up the thing i do is go to another good server and slowly you will see people from your guild showing up....you should try and ask them.

Whenever the server does not show up on the server list, and you have no errors in your world.exe, it is because your loginserver has the incorrect DNS or IP address. It has nothing to do with a firewall or router, firewalls and routers only effect the incomming information. World does not require any information from the LS to pop up on the list so it will always be there as long as you tell it to connect to the right LS in the loginserver.ini file.

I know the problem has been solved this is just an explanation for those who could care to read it and know about it hehe...
