Sorry for the lack of explanations.

my bot is a level 54 enchanter, I target a mob and enter the ^charm command => I receive the message "No bots are capable of performing this action"

What level is the mob that you are trying to charm?

I'm pretty sure I coded the level restrictions into that.

I have been trying to charm mobs of different levels since the chanter has the spell available and it never worked once with always the same error message as above, unfortunately :/

It should work (the red square in the buff window indicates the charm spell) .. though, you need to set the condition so the enchanter can charm a pet.

Targeting the enchanter and typing ^petgetlost won't work since that only releases the current pet and they cast their current pet spell.

Instead, use ^petremove and that will set the mode where they can charm.

If you're still having issues, let me know.

Oh ok thanks, I didn't know you had to remove the current default pet in order to charm. I can't exactly remember how it was in original live EQ but I thought you could temporarily charm a mob while keeping your pet, not sure tho.

Thanks for bringing clarity on the issue.
