Default eq client & desktop gamma issue

If the eq process doesn't shut down safely (e.g. /ex or game crashes), then my desktop gamma remains super bright.

The only way to return the gamma to normal is to either restart windows or log off and log back into windows.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Thanks.

SoD fixed this for me. I had to kill EQ thru task manager the other day and gamma corrected itself, which had never happened with Titanium. Never tried SoF, so not sure if that client will do the same.

Move the slider on your gamma via your video card driver control panel.

Usually moving it one notch will make it fix itself and then just move the slider back to the previous position.

This has been an issue with EQ since I started playing (~2000). Still happens to me, even witht he SoD client.

I used to fix it as posted above, move your gamma over one notch then back.
