Default Editing eqhost File Problem

I try to edit the eqhost file to say login.eqemulator.net:5998 and when I save it, a window pops up and says:

You do not have permission to open this file. See the owner of the file or an administrator to obtain permission.

I'm not real tech savvy... any advice?

You probably have Everquest installed in some protected folder like Program Files or Program Files (x86). I would just copy the file to my desktop, make the changes, and copy it back. When you copy it back it will probably ask you to confirm administrative rights to move it back and just say YES.
