Noobies Read This!/How to play!

Hey all. I just thought I would put some links here to some good stuff on the Wiki that I dont believe many noobs know about. Its the most recent stuff as of today. Seems alot of people are reading outdated stuff and having trouble.

when i use the how to start eqemulator it says to rename the eqhosts file with host=eqemulator.net ect but at the end it says do .......:5998 but my computer doesnt let me do : in a file name for some reson. am i doing something wrong?
