You should remove your buddy's email from public post.

Tell them to visit http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/reg...o=requestemail

And next time don't uncheck "Allow administrators to send me emails" :P

So I had him visit that confirmation link and verify he has the box checked to receive emails from admins and still no luck. I had him try under a different email account and same thing.

If that link isn't working, sadly there isn't anything anyone can do to help you here.

If he can't get it going, you could create another loginserver account under yours and give him the info for that one.

Or try Gmail.

I see your emails are sent via amazon ses. Can you guys check logs there? I checked MX blacklist records and don't see any issues there for your domain, but I created a brand new gmail account and went through the process again, still no email. I think there's something up on your end

It looks like you guys have some sort of intermittent failure sending emails through Amazon SES.

For anyone else who has this issue, log into the account you need to activate and browse to http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/reg...o=requestemail

The email address should already be populated, click the button to send the email. Check your email. If you don't get something almost immediately, perform the step again. Rinse repeat until you get an email.

If you get an email but it says it's an invalid link, that means the email was not for the latest activation request button click, so you might need to give it more time before re-requesting the email to be sent to you.

The loginserver account management situation has been much to be desired for years. I apologize for anyone who runs into issues.

As mentioned earlier make sure that you don't uncheck "Allow administrators to send me emails"

The possibility of another solution may be on the horizon within 2023 H1

So if I don't check "allow members to email me" is there any problem?
