I just reinstalled my system, and I can't find directions on how to do it again, mainly I can't find the eqemu download. Any links to download?

Thanks

We cannot give you the EverQuest client through this service, as it could compromise the Emulator as a whole, however you could go to Amazon and buy an Underfoot version, the only thing allowed is the ability to show you how to connect, not actually distribute an illegal copy of the game.

He didn't ask for an everquest client download.

EQEmulator download would be the client, you don't have to download anything to connect to the servers.

EQEmulator (or EQEmu) is a GNU GPL open source server emulator for the MMORPG EverQuest. =O

I would highly recommend against purchasing any downloads from anywhere. The Amazon downloads have been verified to not work with EQEmu and I believe they are only a partial client install that will need to be patched to Live to work at all (which will not work with EQEmu right now anyway).

The only downloads that have ever been supported by EQEmu are from Steam and even that one is not currently supported as they have patched the download past what version we currently support for the RoF client. Even the Steam downloads are free (free to play client), so no purchase would be required.

Basically, there are currently no legal downloads of clients that are compatible with EQEmu. The only legal clients that are compatible and attainable are the Titanium or SoF retail discs, but they are hard to find out there and are normally way overpriced.

Check Amazon -

http://www.amazon.com/EverQuest-Secr...ets+of+faydwer

As low as $10.33 when you get it used... then like $3 or $4 for shipping.

Very much worth it.

I myself bought Titanium when it came out? What 2005?

Bought UF and SoD on Steam and kept it all backed up.

When you consider how much you will pay, to play on Live, $15 or so is worth it - covers one month's EQ Live purchase.
