Default local loginserver issues

A couple of things I have some questions about

First -

I'm using EQEmuLoginServer.exe. I don't know when it was built (if I built it or it was from the Google Code repo or not.)

It's last modified is 12/11/2010 and is 395,776 bytes.

It appears to still work - i updated the .conf files from the GIT repo loginserver\login_util folder.

my question is this:

when it's run and I connect I'm getting the following message:

As an aside, I looked at the log for my EQEmuLoginServer and it's logging the following:

Code:
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 10:52:13] Logging System Init.
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 10:52:13] Config System Init.

02 00 00 00                                        | ....
I'm using the Steam ROF client (Starting EverQuest (Built Dec 10 2012 17:35:44)) and it's listing SOD as the client.

Is that correct?

Secondly, if I build the new loginserver.exe (RelWithDebInfo | x64), it stops with this log:

Code:
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Logging System Init.
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Config System Init.
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] MySQL Database Init.
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Encryption Initialize.
[Error] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Failed to load EQEmuAuthCrypto from the operating system.
[Error] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Encryption Failed to Load.
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Database System Shutdown.
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Config System Shutdown.
[Debug] [03.06.13 - 11:06:28] Log System Shutdown.
I can only assume that it's because it was built x64 and the login crypto is x86. Am I correct?

is there an x64 crypto available?

first question:
i think the only things the login server will ever say are titanium and sod (note that those are the only two streams listed as being listened on).

second:
the only login crypto for windows that is available is for x86. no idea what could be causing your issue. haven't run the login server on x64 myself.

@c0ncrete:

yea i think i figured that out yesterday when looking through the .confs, apparently everything SOD+ is classified 'SOD'. The server must differentiate the clients later on, just not for login

I ended up recompiling the loginserver x86 and it worked fine.

@lerxst2112

thanks!
