Default Removing editing Things / Objects

How do you edit / remove thing in a zone?
Prime example. How would remove those Plane of Knowledge pedistools in the zones?
Is there an editor for that. Is it hard coded? Is it in the map files?

Ok never mind I found a link telling how to remove the books.
http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/sho...ghlight=remove

In that case, is there any good tools that I can use?
MySQL 5.1
Win 7 Ultimate x64

Seems any tools I try to run crash or can't connect to MySQL
Tried EQEmu Admin Tools and just crashes and says can't connect to SQL.
Tried installing ODBC connector but still same results.
I don't think I have tried PEQ DB editor yet.. but if anyone knows how to get some of these tools working whith what I got or know of some tools that might help.....

Anything that will work with the new schema, likely not. Rather, I suspect it will be a short list.

I do wish some of the programmers for the tools that have become inactive would consider making it open source. There are many able programmers in the community, but many would rather not spend the time required on making one from scratch, or so is my guess else they would have. GeorgeS' tools are in Beta at the moment, or Alpha, whatever he calls the personal testing stages heh. He seemed to hammer them our quite quickly.. we're fortunate to have him as an active programmer.

I myself prefer Navicat (went ahead and purchased it), though I like to use the tools to get a more "visual" feel for the changes that I've done. I did prefer the tools, but then the new changes broke them, now, I've gotten accustomed to Navicat.

I've not yet tested the Diable (D2?) item/loot tool, and I dont suppose I will get the chance now that it's "broke" but, from the screenshots I saw, I like the layout of it (hint, nudge, maybe?).

Ya none of the "tools" I try don't work or crash. Tried Goerges tools.. crashes

Just finished installing Apache and PHP and tried peq_editer tools and the page and header and back ground load up but nothing else loads up. checked all the configs and it's all set up right just doesn't work.

Working with objects I prefer to use PEQEditor and whatever the # command is in game to reload the static data. Cant remember it off top of my head but its one of the dozens I have hotkeyed.
