According to what the source code says about the error you are getting, it looks like you didn't put your plugin files into your eqemu/plugin folder as directed in the wiki guide.

Well, thats what I thought too, but I double checked, and I have the following files in the plugins folder:

check_handin.pl
check_hasitem.pl
guildmasters.pl
soulbinders.pl
.KEEP

and of course the CVS and .svn folders.

If there are more files that are supposed to go there, then they for some reason did not come with the release of EQEMU, but im pretty sure these are the correct files.

Bump, issue fixed.

The typical stuff of reinstalling perl (deleting folder / files / rebooting / redoing packages etc) was not what did it for me. The problem must have been something that I missed in the registry. I used a free registry cleaner, that can be found here:

I can now hail, and do quests, after reinstalling, (and rebooting after every step) and running this cleaner.
