ok, does your server show up in the 5998 or 5994 login server?

Try this (Adding newlogin1 to login server)

When that runs in world.exe and boot5zones can you copy those over for me if they are still getting an error message. 0.6.0 DR2 seems to be a little different than I was expecting so im trying my best to help here lol.

I have it on 5994 and i had the newlogin1.eqemulator B4 and thats when the server didnt show up i removed the newlogin1. and i got the server to show up. And not getting the boot5worlds error or the world.exe error anymore it just went away.

Ah ok. Wasnt sure. Go ahead and boot it up and copy the info over for me if yo ucould I can try to see whats happening in the world.exe and boot5zones.

See when I set mine up I had to sue my external IP on both sides of the port in Boot5zones, it looks like everything is connecting to your local IP which could cause an error I think. maybe try reversing the way your IPs are set up in boot5zones and see what that does. It is loading fine except the IPs seem to be a problem. at least thats what it looks liek to me. When I run my own boot5zones it shows my external IP.

Noticed the world name too, try that as well =)

Ok made the name longer still only black screen : ( will try the IP address thing. And that error measage seems to take awhile B4 it apprears like i have to run world.exe for awhile B4 the measage comes up.

EDIT: ok tried flipping the IP's and when i click boot5zones the 5 windows open and close real quick with some measage in it but cant read it closes fast : P putting IP's back the way it was lol.

OK lets run a quick test. Replace all your IPs with ther 127.0.0.1 ip and see if it will load and let you log in

This is a stand alone server so only yo ucan entier it, but its a good way to test.

those ip's only in boot5zones? or loginserver and eqhost also?

tried putting that IP in just boot5zones and the windows open then close real quick again

then tried putting it in loginserver also same thing.

also want to go on like irc or something to chat instead of this? if so tell me what if its irc i need to install it again i think.

edit i got IRC still on it now if you want to go onthat instead just tell me server or w/e.

Im new to the EQ emulator thing im quite the eq fanatic and i just made my accounts(s) and i can log in and everything but it takes me like 20 minutes to log in, then SOMETIMES idont see any servers, am i supposed to DL the database for the new emulator? cause all i did was change my eqhost.txt file and bang went straight ahead to try and log in under eq emu without DLing anything (except of course sony eq patches) any help?

Would really like to know how to bypass the long wait
