A very kind player donated a new server for Raid Addicts which is on it's way , good timing considering our recent 2012 retail donation. The new server has the following specs:
Dell PowerEdge 2850
Processor : 2 - Intel Xeon CPU 3.6GHz 800FSB 2MB Cache
Memory : 16 GB
Storage : 4 - 146GB 10K U320 SCSI Hard Drive - 80Pin - With Sled
Raid : PERC 4e/Di - Included by default
Once the server arrives will setup the raid for raid 10 and install the dell 2850 pre-install cd followed by server 2012 installed and etc etc I'm going to try and make a guide for people and put it on the wiki for a new raid 10 config plus 2012 install and setup of everything after tht point.
Anyway given recent donations like this I MUST do everything it takes on my end to fix bugs on raid addicts as well as releasing T5 otherwise it would be an insult to these two nice folks who made this all possible and once again can't mention names but thank you both very much !
