Default Legends of Everquest (Custom/Legit)

Just announcing a new server that is under development, We're rebuilding the entire world, which is quite a large undertaking in itself.

What to look for:
* Complete custom quests and questlines ranging from lvs 1 to 80
All the old world dungeons are being re-vamped, to include scattered
quests in the outdoor areas as well..

* Custom Drops! No more standardized zone wide loot tables, are mobs
all have handpicked loot tables. None of that random mess either, each
piece of armor or weapon has been re-fitted to the GM's tastes

* Max Lv of 80 (eventually) - progressive as the initial max is 60.

* Complete revamp of mobs in zones, gear and weapons.

* Tons of custom content and all new mob strategies. Yes, the mob did
just randomly teleport the tank into a pool of lava...

* A very long awaited rebirth of tradeskills and a complete tradeskill
revamp. Finally Misty Thicket Picnics are actually worth having.

* With the tradeskill revamp all trades will be available to all players.

* Upgradable Epic Armors and Epic Weapons - Thats right - why settle
with a 2.0 when you can have a 5.0! And why cant armor be epic?

* Familiar items revamped and improved

* 0 Cash mobs server wide - In an attmept to stimulate an economy
mony will not be easy to come by, so start selling!

* LDON returns! Your heard right - LDON dungeons will be available, as
well as the ability to earn adventure points, though not like live.

* Solo, Group, and Raid content spread across all lvs.

* x3 Exp gain (Might make it x2 instead) - most exp can be earned
through questing and custom content!

* Tradeskill quests! Why should tradeskilling be boring? Earn money, exp
and items now through quests!

* Guild Management in the players hands

* Mounts! Need I say more?

* Custom spells and improved spells - you will HAVE to download the new
spell file from here in order to play on the server. Spells from all levels
will be customized and improved so casters can keep up with melee.

* Tanks have tons of AC and HP, DPS have tons of DPS and avoidance,
Healers have improved spells (Complete heal actually heals
completely!), and Casters can do damage that makes DPS envious.

* No instant traveling to where you have to go for a quest :P You actually
have to explore a bit and do something other than autoattack.

Well.. the first few areas are shaping up nicely, and were currently looking for play testers to check balancing issues.. make sure quests work, etc..

If you wish to be a tester, check out our website and leave a message on the Forums; or if you just entirely to lazy to do all that, look for Shai or Chaos in game...

Server Updates!

-Dozens of Quests added to the starting CITY (Not some little player hub, but city)

-Newbie Armor Quests are in.

-Completely Customized Crushbone, With Quests, New Custom Mobs, and Entirely Custom Drops

-Spell Merchants Updated! All spells 50 and under have been added to the starter city.

-Several Zones in Development, with the first Group Dungeon, Befallen.

-Added Rare Spawns throughout the outdoor zones, see who/what you can find..



Come check us out, the server is still under heavy development, but we need testers and such to come see if anything is missing or out of place. We take all feedback into consideration, come experience a completely custom, live-like experience..

Hey there everyone!

Im known as Chaos on the Legends Server and the owner of the server. Our goal with the server is to develop a well designed, fun, content rich server spanning many of the zones we know and love. We intend to include ring events, LDON, Epic mob encounters, completely custom quest lines and gear, all well balanced. We intend to use every zone available at some point as well.

However, in order to really expand on these options, we're looking for dedicated GM's and Guides to fill our three Departments (Development, Customer Service, and Events). We also need scripters and people who are familiar with the database.

The server is currently hosted on a 50 mbit connection (roughly 4-5mb/s uploads and 10mb/s downloads) and the server is very stable and always up (unless implimenting an update). We are not looking at moving the database at this time.

We would be greatly interested in expanding our team with players who have GM experience, and preferably server design experience. If you own a server and just dont have the time to put into it, come join our team and put in as much time as you like, while seeing the results build. If you want to add your personal touch but stick with a server you already own, thats great too! All GM's who join, for however short or long, will be immortalized by a Statue likeness of that player.

If you're interested, please visit our server and talk with any of the GM's that are on! We are always interested in hearing new ideas, suggestions and the such!

We have some pretty ground-breaking content in the works, a all new pvp system, spell fixes, and possibly a LDoN merchant/point system based on PvP (with completely custom zones... OpenZone isn't our favorite program in the world, but we're gonna make them your favorite zones).

Epic weapons that are truly EPIC are in the works, no we don't give you an epic at leve 1, or 20, or 50 for that matter, on our server we think that an epic item should be exactly that. EPIC!

Class weapon quests starting at level 15 and progressively spanning over a long quest arc are in the works, Berserkers (by much demand) already have theirs in.

No old-world items drop in their old world fashion. All our items are balanced, and dropped based on Risk vs. Reward.

Our first raid zone (level 35 type) is in Development right now, its a surprise but whats scarier than undead halflings? :p

A long series of quests for the West Freeport/NRo/Commons areas is in the works, some are implemented some are still being scripted.

Looking for competent and knowledgeable GMs to develop content, give ideas and playtest. We also need a few more scripters/coders, for more information visit our forums, or speak to either Chaos, Shai or Frogman in game.

Our world is constantly changing, lots of exciting things are in the works, and we have surprises planned for every zone. Having a set list of dungeons with global drop tables is firmly against our beliefs, if you acquire it on LoEQ you earned it.

Uhm... be more positive? or better yet, ignore the thread if you choose to be negative.


Allow them to express there server onto the EQEmulator forums, without flaming.
