Default Database Error

Am using the new version of eqemu 5.1 and i have put in the new db.sql, server update.sql and dumpeditems.sql into mysql and created an account. Everything loads up ok in world.exe and mini login and my zones, but when i make a new char and click enter world it says this zone is unavailable. When i check the world.exe it says [Error] Database: could not find start_zones entry, is this becasue I need a new version of mysql. Am using version 3.23 MySQL.

the only reason you'd need to update mysql (honestly) is to benefit from queue caching in the newer versions. I am having the same issues, as are a bunch of other people. This is only because there isn't a compatible db for 0.5.1 -yet-.
