Default unknown guild

Could someone point me in the right direction on how to correct the <unknown guild> bug in 0.6.0-DR3.

Thanks!

just zone, sometimes that fixes it, if you make a guild and put the tag on in the same zone without leaving or rebooting the server

Default Db

If that doesn't work, you may have to mess around with the database a bit to fix it. I had the same problem with 0.6.1 DR2, but after messing around with the DB ,I was able to fix it. It was over a month ago, or I'd try to post everything I did...

is this a db issue? I thought there may have been a problem with 0.6.0-DR3 source.

If you are talking about the tag <unknow guild> in a character when creating a new guild is a database issue, usually fixed zonning. If you are talking about those NPC guys with <unknow guild> tag that are untargetables is a code issue in Cavedude's serverpack.
How to fix the code in second one is not public yet afaik, check http://eqemu.sesmar.net/forum for more info.

Actually it's not a DB issue, it's a source problem. Cavedude got it fixed by messing with the source and compiling a new one. That is with 6.0 DR3 mind you. Not sure what other versions have that problem. It gets rid of the untargetable mobs with the funky hardoo and the unknown guild name above him.

Yeah. When I had the problem it was with 6.1 DR1 and DR2, so if he's using 6.0, I dunno what his problem may be.
