Default Final 32-bit code release

Now that the code will officially only run on 64-bit servers, how can i get my hands on the final 32-bit server code release? Is there an archives somewhere?

I think you can still target compiles for 32-bit OSes .. but, it would have to be built on a 64-bit one.

What 32-bit OS are you running?

Depends on what his underlying problem is.

If he's wanting to compile on pre-windows 7, there's no support for that any longer - thanks to microsoft upping the min os for visual studio.

Windows 7. I have old code there, but I wondered if I could update to the final stable release that could be complied on 32 bit. That's the computer on which I have my development software set up. I won't be getting a 64-bit server for some time.

If such a thing is not available, i'll just keep using the code I have. My server still seems to show up on the eqemu server list, so the old code still works there so far.

Nothing is preventing you from compiling the binaries... unless i'm misinterpreting the question? Simply choose the non-Win64 option in cmake.

Oh. I figured that code changes had been made that required a compile on 64 bit for 64 bit. I'll give it a try.

Newer VS can still target pre-7 Windows version, they just can't run VS on older systems.

And there shouldn't be anything stopping you from compiling EQEmu as 32 bit.
