Default Why can't I play live?

I was going to play live again so I installed my cd's, which are the following: EverQuest Classic + Kunark, Velious (install didn't work though), Luclin, and Planes of Power. After that, I patched which took about 8 hours. I clicked play, and nothing happened. I went to advanced and downloaded the optional patch, but still no luck. Anyone know why? I hope this is the right place for this.

Try this forum. I'm sure they can help.

Edit: Since this doesn't pertain to EQEmulator, moved to Off-Topic.

You think for being the big company they are, that there forums wouldnt look like complete trash. High contrast colors, no style, just plain wierd.

Not only do you need an active account, you can only patch to the expansions that account has purchased.

Seems to fit with their other launchers (EQ2, Vanguard, etc) so it's no surprise. I'm sure there's ways to find the files if they are really needed without an active account. =)

IMO, it's smart of them to do that, but it hurts our playerbase... so yeah

:( Yeah, launchpads are pointless.

Apparently not, or they wouldn't use it.

And, SOE launchpad supports many games under one single point of entry (sorta). The idea is brilliant, though inconvenient to us gankers who expect everything for free.
