people with the knowledge and time to share.. and turn around and treat each other like they do.. when compared to people like me that dont know jack about developing or even just trying to put a server up is blind sided by older members and wiser members arguing... and fussing..

I dont know if you guys have kids .. but my sons argue over PS2 games all the time.. and instead of just putting up with the arguments.. i just simply take it away from them... ends arguments completely..

umm i dont feel i have to contribute anything.. fact is facts..

kinda like that boss of a construction company yanno...

boss wants to build building.. so he gets a bricklayer to do the labor.. then of course boss profits off it.. boss probably didnt know jack on how to lay bricks...

now if i knew how to lay bricks.. i wouldnt be here.. but since i am here.. i still have a voice.. and the boss would too on a building project specially if the laborer was acting kinda silly ..

being a part of a community is great.. we have an opportunity voice an opinion whether you like it or not.. as long as we are not harmfully hurting anyone integrity..

but it seems unless you have 200+ posts or have been here for years is the only way you can outright flame someone about an opion someone else has...

as for me being on this forums.. hmm on and off for about 2 years now.. yes yes.. new account .. blah blah.. but still fact remains havent ever contributed to the project... as great as it is...and i do say that again.. its a great project.. i do appreciate the work you guys put into this.. but the fighting against.. great minds that would probably be useful in other things than coming on a forum and bitching at each other would benefit us even more..

How about this,


You are the owner of a lacal busness, its getting a lot of complaints on its customer service and the employees are NOT happy.

You have 14 employees, in doing serveys and sessions with the employees to get to the root of the issues, it comes out that 10 people say the manager is the issue.


14 people.....10 say the issues are caused by 1 person. So to solver the issues you fire the manager and promote a new one from inside the company, the manager freeks out and starts causing issues again. After you fire the manager you realize his roomate has the keys to the store and the safe, everything. So to make sure the ex-manager cant use his roomates keys you take them back till things calm down.


All reasonable things and stuff that is done in every day busness. Where the HUGE issues start isnt from the employess its from the customers, the customers who liked the old manager better, or the ones with no life that live to cause problems.


If people would let this go and stop edging things on it would have been solved and over with by now, there NOT the issue right now its the people who keep going on and on and on.

Things might have been run nepotism-style in the past, but this is no longer the case. I really don't care if you have a billion posts and registered in 1942. It doesn't matter. You get three strikes, and then it's out for that account. If you repeat your pattern on eventual new accounts, you get IP-banned.

Wiz.., just because i have a personal vendeta against you.. no flame towards at all.. if i leaned towards it in the earlier post.. i appoligize.. im sure its no sweat on your back.. figured id come clean with that

Matt also.. good point made about the employees.. but again.. things like this should not be brought up in a public forum.. I really dont know who owns the forums but i know if i did.. i would prevent things like this being posted.. it just creates havoc with the community.. and unneeded problems...

I still believe as bad as things got in a few threads it would have been a LOT worse if it was all done in wispers and back allys.

I was violently opposed to locking this thread even after repeated requests, so people could voice their concerns, but I see you really don't appreciate a grain of freedom.
