Hey that's great!! Congrats on some fine work! I recently picked this up again and everything installed flawlessly except i got that 1017. This has to be the problem. I'm using the 5.2 eqemu and all loads fine and clean.

Question: You mention at the top that if we use the 5.3dr1 we no longer need to do this compile. For those of us who are not as gifted programmers (read not-at-all) and don't own compiling software would it be possible for someone to load the actual World.exe file out for us to use?

I tried AK1122's world.exe and then like doof realized it was not a valid win32 file (binaries). Is it possible to get a working win32 version of world.exe anywhere? I've searched and the only file keeps coming up Ak1122's. I can reset my dbs and all if I had a copy of World.exe that worked with minilogin. Ya'll are fantastic and great info and help in these threads. I got it working flawlessly through 3 other errors up to the 1017 error with only the search command in these forums. Woot!

It's a valid DOS executable file, however the server is very unstable, and the only way to get it is to copy the link and paste it into a good download manager (I used getright myself).

If it's OK with everyone I can upload the file to a more stable server until 5.3 gets released.

I'll try again with a download manager, however, if it is cool to rehost this that'd be great. I'll keep an eye on the thread for confirmation. Thanks!
