Ok so by now with all the problems I've had I probably shouldnt be trying to run a server (due to the fact I dont know much about this sort of thing) but Id like to and I want to learn this stuff....so where can I go to learn about proxie's and using them?

You don't need a proxy to run a server...

If you want help, just follow Jeze's guide.
