I read the rules, is there seriously no looting of any kind? thats what the backbone of pvpers from eq were in it for, the bluebies on RZ were in it for pointless killing without reward or something bad for the victim. Are there any advantages to killing someone besides "omg I'm helping my faction beat teh evil freeportians yahh!" ?

you get merits or points which you then spend on QUIT DISSING THE SERVER!... sorry turrets... you spend them on armor and stuff.

Best PvP server out. No item loot because you get points for killing people to spend on items. You won't find anything better out there.

I would just like to give a status update for those who are interested.
The server has been locked for several weeks while we finalize some of the newer content and implement PvP rewards. We will be re-opening on Friday the 18th in the evening hours (Central Daylight). There will be a character wipe, but I will be increasing the experience a tad for a day or so. If anyone is interested in helping us Beta test, we'd love to see you online. This should be a great chance for new players to get started as everyone will once again begin from square one. Feel free to visit us at cohpvp.net for more information. well are you going to have another char wipe? i hate lvling so much and getting all the gear thne you wipe it and i gotta start over again.

Unfortunately its a necessary evil that has to be tolerated to form a good PvP server. Its in everyone's best interest.
