that worked for turning on all rights for root (but i think root already had them) but I still get the same error when
trying to run the character viewer - mysql (or something) wont let the viewer in.

I think the overall error is "impossible to connect", by why? :S

I think my suggested fix only applies to not actually having php running. Since you are getting AllaClone script messages,
that wouldn't be the case. (The code segments should be at the bottom of the Apache config file.)

I forgot to bring copies of my config files with me today... If I manage to swing by the house, I'll send you a pm of each of
mine so you can compare. My files probably aren't 100% correct, but they do work and you might see something you missed.

I'm using the 'emu' version of MySQL and AllaClone connects to it.

I've gotten 5.1.54 to work, so its just a setting somewhere that needs to be fixed.

I wonder where though :confused: - I still havent found a fix for this yet.
Thanks for feedback though, good to know - I wondered about 5.1 and everyone said it wouldnt work at the time. :cool:
