I am looking at the extended target window now and while it works awesome for players it dose not seem to work with bots. Is this as expected or is there a setting I am missing?

Bots probably are not coded to use the x-target window, as yet..haven't looked at it, though...

since your bot names are static, you can just add /tar <name> to the social key for healing a particular party member... you may need multiple keys, but a lil bar on the side or something is no big deal.

kinda like a heal bar in isboxer, i think. i have only dabled with it before.

make sure your group does more dps than the botgroup, and you can avoid waiting to loot - if that is a problem. put the utility classes in that group. you can even pause before sending the bot group in your social macro key. just a short delay is probably enough.
