One time while I was new on Ec`i and new to EQ period. There was a tracking problem and a ranger in wolf form was using his bow and kiting him... taking full advantage of the tracking problem caused by the tree platforms above. Kinda funny watching the PoD running around like an idiot with arrows hitting him from a wolfs mouth.

I killed him on live a few weeks ago..not hard..1 warrior (me) 1 65 cleric (also me).

pod = WORKED

PoD is easy to solo on live. If you've got a decently EP equipped( Elemental Planes geared) character, you can probably do it. My friend on live, a wizard, can solo the PoD. My bard can easily solo the PoD on live.

I like to make the guards attack him, damn bastard.

Killed him with 6 people the day kunark was released in freeport. No exploits just good tactics.
Monk - Warrior - SK - Mage - Shaman - Cleric if memory serves, server gm and a couple guides watched us and everything, gave us booze afterwards.

havnt they updated the PoD? A few days ago on live , he wears chainmale and duel wields two swords. Heard 2 50's shouted they got hammered for 700 each by him?

Ya i wish i still had the screenshot of a gm event where everyone was told to create level 1 halfings then my brother thought it would be funny to attack the pod so he did then all the halfings jumped him which was about 100 then a pally came in and started to attack him but the pod was only going after the halfings and the pally was never hit so he was able to kill the Pod ...there were hundreds of dead halflings all over the entrance to rivervale

Nah its people who are bored and give him weaopns and armor, usually summoned mage armor (the red looking stuff) as for him hitting for 700, i think if maybe you were lvl 1 with 10 ac he might be able to, but the wepons have no effect on that aspect of it.
