I cant seem to fix this it keeps telling me to DL a new version. I have the EQemu patcher but that wont work either. I think i need a Eqlive client but I dont know where to get it. Anyhelp would be appreciated. Thanks

if your trying to logon to a 0.5.3-DR2 server, use eqlive version (dec 23 i think is the date)

You have to have actually purchased Everquest. Then you let the patch run. That is the EQ Live client. The settings to change after that are in all the guides all over. Also, a quick search of the forums says to NOT use the EQemu patcher any longer. Never ever. It's also a sticky announcement DIRECTLY ABOVE this thread.

my prog stopped being able to connect this morning...account was deleted from lack of posting...so I reregistered, and now I get error 1017 -- did a full file scan on the reg. EQ (sony) servers, still nothing....cant even log onto 5.5 servers..any help?

check your eqhost.txt, if you patched eqlive it will change the eqhost.txt back to what it is supposed to be on eqlive...

Please dont post support questions on a sticky thread, create a new thread...
