As for why we dont just have binares, its a developer release. Not a Win32-people-who-cant-compile-stuff/newbies-only release. We dont want a whole bunch of noobs who dont like to type stuff like 'make' and 'compile' messing around with development. Sorry to be mean, but someone had to sort that out.

If you cant compile, wait for the 0.5.0 Binarys to come out some day.
