1) Because it isn't all that much to type for me.

2) I was bored and unable to go to sleep.

3) I'm not one to pass up the chance of explaining one of my achievements. (Yep, I'm full of myself)

Edit: And if you meant the typing I did on those boards, then it was because it was summer and I had a lot of free time.

Those forums must have been pretty pointless...

DataMan4971 12-30-2003 08:46 AM

 Wow. Volvagia, you just love to hear yourself talking don't you. Let me give someone advice.

IF YOU CAN DONATE, SAY IT, IF YOU CANT FOR A GOOD REASON SAY IT, OTHERWISE, SHUT UP!!! WHY SHOULD YOU BE COMPLAINING WHEN ITS A FREE SERVICE AND YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR IT.

Volvagia70364 12-30-2003 08:48 AM

Actually they were.....it was a pyro themed board and the majority of the people on there were "anarchists" that I made it my personal mission to attack whenever they came up with a "brilliant" idea. Thats where the bit between Brian and I started. And just for the record, I was there because I find the idea of making my own fireworks interesting. :P

DataMan4971 12-30-2003 08:51 AM

Anarchy?!?!? SOMEONE SAY ANARCHY!!! I LOVVVVE ANARCHY!!! Ahahahahaaa

(Facade Self) I mean...Anarchy...what a explosive yet entertaining activity, though idiots tend not to read the rules and soak a tennis ball in gasoline and light it without getting water or gloves...

*shakes his head*

Volvagia70364 12-30-2003 10:20 AM

Yep, thats them. They try to make pipe bombs and all......I even have a home movie of one of them lighting a pumpkin filled with gas and hitting it with a bat.

And DataMan4971? I do talk to hear myself. It lets me use my larynx once in a while and make sure it still works

I noticed that no one tried to counter claim google's actions.

Does this mean that what occurred is true? if not, why can't you work with google to resolve the issue?

mattmeck 12-31-2003 05:56 AM

Looking at the average intelligence level of people on this board, I honestly believe people were clicking the ads just to click them, over and over again. They probably thought they were doing good things, but we specifically told people not to do that.

aendaar 12-31-2003 11:35 AM

what a mean thing to say

Edgar1898 12-31-2003 02:56 PM

Google doesnt protect its ad publishers. If it gets too many clicks from the same IP it simply shuts the site down and doesnt give them a second chance. Its really stupid, but like if I hated a site for whatever reason that used google for ads I could screw them over by clicking the ad 30 times over and over. Google would send them a cryptic message and shut them down. Any emails are replied to with canned responses.

Ladigin 01-01-2004 01:38 PM

With all the ad-click advertising on the net, is it really that hard to get a new sponsor? Im just asking, because ive never researced that and I am flat out unable to make any form of monetary donation :(
