ya it did work with EQ before...
I've run it pretty good... highquality and highresolution... only in bazaar perhaps there could be some lag ;) |
As far as the GF2 goes, I have a GF2 TI 64MB and DX9 works on it... I'm not sure if different versions would make a difference or not though.

okies ltlruss
I got a GF2 TIvX 64MB Tv-Out card... from Inno3D... have been working great... but not the last few days though... green lines comes and goes... like 1-2px wide with 2px space between... really annoying ;) gotta buy me a new GFX card before I can play EQ again :( well tnx for all the info!! :) |

ok... but I haven't updated to DX9 drivers just a few days ago...
that was perhaps 1 month ago or something... when I reinstalled windows ;) |
I'm playing eq patched after 3/25/2004 on my laptop. I have a Radeon Mobility 7500 and drivers that aren't the newest, but within the last 6 months. Works fine. I think it runs better after this last patch. It definitely looks nicer at least. :)

that sounds great for me :)
and that sounds also good for all of us that haven't got any backup from before the backup... so it's ok for us to go on patching :) |
umm uh oh
i patched and im still fine is that bad?
|
Nope, how can it be bad if you can play? :D I don't think that it was ever really confirmed that the patch broke the emu. People are just very cautious, especailly when there's a major patch to live. It looks like most people are still able to get on with the patch though.
|
that sounds great :)
still waiting for Intel to exchange my CPU... *grr* ;) I WANNA PLAY!! :D |
