Really like your server, haven't been on too much since it came back up (I just discovered this community a couple of days ago).

Really nice work on the server, a few question for you.

Does Greenleaf have a website for basic info (rules and regs etc)?

How much from regular EQ does it differ? (is this a question I can ask here? please forgive me if it's no, the message board rules are a little convulated).

I am definitely a casual player and my wife is interested in playing with me. Your server so far seems the closest to EQ that I have seen so far (Scorpions server is nice too but your has been a better ping/lag for me so far).

Let me know if you would like any help with Quest writing, I have some experience from hosting NWN games.

Anyway Cheers to a great server and a BIG CHEEERS to the whole EMU Dev team, never thought I would play EQ again ;)

I know i'm not bush but i've talked with him quite often when i'm on and i think i could answer some of your questions.

1.He is still searching for someone to create a website for the server... So atm one does not exist. I assume when a website is established it will contain a list of rules an requlations i'm sure, but i cant say that for certian.

2. At the moment the Green Leaf does not differer from EQ Live at all except for the fact that you can summon items and #zone. This server is still in beta fixing bugs and setting up other stuff such as a GM system so not every gm has ultimate power. I believe Bush has finnished that now and is working on a couple last bugs and he is making good progress. But after that from what i've heard he will basicaly be revamping all of the LDoN zones to be custom zones and then it will differ from EQ Live quite a bit.

3. This is a great server far as lag and such i never have any problems with lag. I use to have problems zoneing when the server would have 50+ people on it but that has been fixed now according to Bush's latest patch note.

4. As far as quest writing goes that would be something you would need to talk to Bush about i cant answer questions like that for him hehe.

I am not really looking for an exact EQ copy in the long run but the short run to get her into it makes it eaiser (since I know the area's).

The custom side of your server sounds cool. I have never been anywhere but the original lands in EQ (I only played the game for 6 months at launch....launch was a really really cool day but lost it's fun pretty quickly).

Well I am more than happy to beta test. One thing that is good about me is i LIKE walk/running everywhere. My last few months of EQ that was all I did with my Druid was escort younger level chars across Norrath :) ).

have aggro factions been put in yet ? and are you going to award points in your custom LDON zones if so will it be all the mobs or just the bosses... im just wondering

I was on today i was in PoV when i logged and no faction there so i dont think it has been put in yet. The reason is because the agro is messed up atm when there is faction on. He tryed it for a little while a week or so ago and it would agro things half way across the zone so its not a good idea to put it in right now till the faction DB gets fixed or some bug in the programing whichever it is.

This is a little off subject but i would encourage everyone who intends to play on the Green Leaf when it gets customized to play it now and help speed up the debugging process. The more people that play helps find bugs and provides different situations that cause certian bugs which can also help Bush find out what is wrong.

Server is back up - Sorry about the downtime guys, I'm pretty sick right now so last night instead of getting it back up after the power went out I worked on the code a bit and then went to bed.

Only 18 ZS are up right now, but I need you guys to play! I'm trying to track down an elusive bug causing zones to crash.

Need server to be up to play i rarly see it up.
