That's why you partition your HD and save a backup of the working install in a zip/ace/rar file or keep a separate partition for your games.

Lol i rember when there wasnt a patch server and EQEmu work just fine
Then it comes out for like 2 mouths and now know no one can live wihtout lol

im actually not as bad as some of these other folks, since i play on a normal live eq account as well 8)

but i wanted to see some of this also so ill just wait

Fresh install, multiple expansions
 

I know its been said that a fresh install of the original EQ client will not work with the emu, what about a fresh install of all expansions except LoY? I'll try it when i get the chance but im leaving on vacation for a week tomorrow so maybe in the mean time someone could see for themselves, maybe it will help, though i doubt it. Ok, so the patcher doesnt work eh? why doesnt someone find the files modified/altered by the Emu and then simplt .zip em and upload em for everyone to download?
Junt an idea, cant be that simple. Id be willing to do it myself if someone has a list of files that were altered and a correct path structure to zip em into.
BTW, This Emu rocks, i just wish more people were online moreoften and were willing to group.... :?

im guessing king dev guy, forgot his name lol, got a letter from sony/verrant's lawyers and demanded he take down the patch server

sooo.....

he is gonna make the new emu client compatible with the newest version of live, that way, sony is the only one sending files out to ppl

am i close in my guess??
