Logging into server... forever

Can't log into the game? Getting a message that hangs you at "logging in to server"? Have patched on or after the 22nd? You most likely overwrote your eqmain.dll file and need a prior version.

system restored and now it works... no clue sometimes.

How'd you get it to work?

Please tell me. Same is happening to me.

Got the same problem. Was playing earlier today, and now when i try to connect nothing happens... Tried everything, and i can connect to the live servers.

im gettin the same problem. That first guy got it to work by jus fukn around so it cant be that hard to figure out.

System restore to yesterday... I figure whatever it is had something to do with when I connected to the live server.... just rolled back my system to yesterday.

YEa i just got it to work and now it keeps staying at the " Logging in please wait screen

Thats why I keep a seperate folder for live.

Upgraded to play on dr6, now cant even get logged in.

If you patched today (6-22 ) there was a minor update and got a new eqmain.dll, could be your reason. /shrug

ugh. Tried to do a system restore but didn't work. :( :(

So the eqmain.dll is the problem, how on earth can this be solved then??

You will need someone to give you the old .dll I suppose... I don't think you can ask for it here though, but maybe if you supplied e-contact info someone would be nice enough to give it to you or contact you otherwise.

Its not the login, my friend had this problem and I fixed it with my copy of the eqmain file... Like I said... if you people would provide an email adress where I... er someone could email you the file...

well... will the people who run EQemu ever update there servers, or whatever needs the updating to run the new dll?

Okay folks, you should have gotten the required file. I also sent you an additional eqhost.txt file incase that is also a problem for you... I set my friends Emu up today for him and those files made everything work... so it should be gtg. Let me know.
