Image + Corruption = Banned from mIRC
 

So I'm now banned from mIRC after being kicked around 10 times by image, since apparently im some infamous hacker by the name of Curtis. Even though my last name is Curtis...not my first name, our ISPs are totally different, I dont play or have never touched GuildWars, and have never spoken a word to Image. My name Is Natalie Curtis, and I have no idea what the deal is but ever since the day I came on EQEmu he had some dire hate for me claiming I was some exploiter of his server....He needs to grow up and realise that I haven't done a single thing, and don't have the intelligence to exploit his damn server :evil:

Tis very annoying, and if any admin with common sense is out there and would unban me, that would be just great.

That dosen't Mean you don't have two acounts

ServerOps can get the account name and IP address of anyone on their server and Devs can cross reference that stuff on the boards and IRC. I would say if Image thinks you are this person that was "hacking" or whatever, it is safe to say it was you.

No but that's the thing, I've asked him NUMEROUS times to do just that and get the IP adress and scan it to all other accounts, and he won't. He simply sais it's me, and that's that because of my name.

GuildWars is gone, so there would be no way to check if you had played on it or not. Plus, your forum username could have been different from your EQ username.

Anyways, its an "IRC" Server.. not an "mIRC" Server.. mirc is the client you use to get onto IRC :P.

Hehe Only time I've ever even used mIRC is for EQEmu , so...go ahead and correct me, lol. And I can not connect at all, I get immedietly disconnected from the server. I'm banned =/.

Natalie: I will unban you, but you will have to connect as a Different name than "Natalie". That name is used by a former Guildwars GM.

Hello Natalie - I'm sorry you got banned. Its probably because you were using the name "Natalie" which was registered by me. There are certain people that probably wish to impersonate me so Image figured you were probably doing that. I've sent him a memo message to unban you from the Irc Servers.
