Would anyone like to start a server?
 

Would anyone here want to start a server with me? i need the other person to actually run the server because my computer keeps screwing it up. So basically this guy wants someone to start a server with him...that is hosted on the other person's machine...that the other person customizes...that the other person is the admin of?

I was just kidding. I made my own server now, but its not showing up on the server list...

how do i fix this error?

That seems the most obvious error. You should have only one [LoginServer] statement.

ok i still get the error and i deleted the Extra [loginserver]. nothing else is wrong?

YES!!! it works now hooray! lol. But i cant login to my server either way. but i will try something to get myself in lol. PM me if you want some items or anything lol

Why wont it let me play on any 5.6 server when i use scorpious2k patcher?

That is a very custom server and it overwrites some things as well, like your strings file, your spells, etc to my understanding. Other servers with the same spells and stuff you can go on, but, there arent any except the one you patched to. It says right in the patcher, i believe, that you will not be able to play any other EQEMu server if you patch. However i might be thinking of the Winter's Roar Patcher.

I can play Winters Roar with their patcher. On scorpious2k website though i followed all the directions and it still doesnt work

btw i logged onto this server last night, there was like 6 people on, but i was the only non GM. a few min later i look again and now im a gm. im liek LoL. yay. im a gm of no-body-cares land.

then i logged off.

point is. being a gm sucks for either 2 reasons. either you gm a server you dont own, and since they gave u gm and ur a noob then there noobs to. so now your gm of this newb ass server. yay. or you make your own server, and your gm of a place no body cares about (not as if anybody cared about the newbie server either though)

The Scorp2k patcher is compatible with 5.7 DR6 not 5.6 thats why you can't get on it.

...? it wont let me get into my server and its 5.7 DR6 and he said that the scorpious patch would let me get into 5.7 DR6's and it wont let me in when i use the patch. why would me saying that make me an idiot?

I suggest giving up =P. Nobody will play on a server where the op doesnt know what the hell is happening. Even if you make it where everyone can get whatever gear they like it gets old VERY VERY fast. Just a suggestion.

I do know what is happening, I just dont know how come no one can login and i am currentley working on that

I let someone be a GM, they spawned characters till they froze up a zone... I had to let them go.

Odd, I WOULD start a server with someone if it wasnt for I allerady started one, if that person would host the zone servers and stuff.. but anyway that isnt happening, if someone wants to start a server with someone, I would think that would mean that you would host about half of it, as in you would host zones, they would host SQL and world... thats just my opinion, dont ask me, im not interested I allready got PSO-NET Legends up and working.
