No I am not presenting a scam, there is a process to receive a free ipod, 20 gig or mini which are 4 gigs I think. I am posting this as you need to refer 5 people to do the same process you signup for, I suggest everyone read www.freeipodguide.com but use refer links left here by other users to signup as it helps them progress. Users who leave their refer links here, after you receive 5 refers please edit your post to say you have done so. Thanks and enjoy. (Please note you should signup using a refer id so refer to the replies). You and your refers must complete one of the 'offers', freeipodguide.com explains how to cancel some of these offers to prevent any possible charges made.

Note: DO NOT do the surveys, when it asks the Yes/No questions, click no on all of them, it is NOT required!

Edit#2: I highly do not suggest the AOL method, they do anything to stop you from cancelling your account (was on the phone for 40 minutes) the video professor is your best bet. No argument from them cancelling my account immediately (which refunded the 7 dollar charge).

Referrers: Keep in mind when you use someones refer ID you are not counted as one of the five people until you complete an offer and are marked so on your status page.

FINALLY: Post your refer link on this post, I will add you to the main list as quickly as possible.

A quick set-by-step for ya:

Ok here is what you do to get the free IPod.

Go Here:

1) Put in your email address and a password.
2) Select the IPod you want. Then sign up for a service. I recommend Video Professor. Fill in all the info needed and credit card. They will charge you $7 but after the proces is done you call them right back and cancel before they charge you at all. Video Professor is the quickest and easiest. If you can't use a credit card you can sign up for AOL anc cancel but it is harder to do and you have to install AOL and stuff. Just do Video Professor.
3) Click on the Check Status link and click the verify email link. Check your email and verify your address.
4) Click the Refer Friends link and refer 5 friends to do the same.
5) After about 30 mins to 1 hour call Video Professor at 800-323-8990 #2 and tell them you want to cancel your order. Before you cancel the service make sure you get credit for it by clicking on the Complete Offer link and looking to see if there are check boxes on the service you signed up for. Then cancel.
6) Your FREE IPod is mailed to you at no cost! :)

Coincidentally, imho the best deal to sign up for is Ebay - You just register with a cc#, bid on an auction that you are guaranteed to lose (Athlon64 for 1.99, 6 days left on auction) and the offer is completed. You dont have to win, you just have to bid on something. And its so easy to find auctions that will gather tons of bids.

I signed up with eBay as well, having not had a buyer's account before this but thought it'd be a nice thing for a purchase here and there, so it was a fair opportunity.

I tryed to sign up but I dont have a credit card being 13 so no free ipod for me =(

You have to do one offer in the list they have, and then you have to get five friends to do any offer as well.

oh ok so like i get 5 of my friends and say i put an item up for bid on ebay then they all bid on it and i get it?

I originally completed the Ebay requirement for the Freeipod, and so I needed to do a different one for the Freemonitor, so I used the Mastercard. Lemme tell yah it was reallly realllly easy, not only did it take like 5 minutes, not have anything close to a charge you have to pay or have refunded, and they gave me a $2,000.00 line of credit.... and I dont even have a job! IMHO Ebay and GM Mastercard are by FAR the two best offers to use.

Heres my refer again for the freemonitor, maybe a mod can edit a new post in to keep track of who needs refers for this just like with the Ipods. (I need 6 more refers for the flat screen.)
