ok things seem to be getting way out of hand with the foums and such. this person picking on that person, so and so is a swelled head gotta be a big ass, cause they have mod status.

things were so much more peacefull when the boards were moded by the devs, didnt get done all the time but there was less drama. maybe it's time to take a step back in the progression and go back to how things were on the boards.

the power to make titles and apply them to people has gotten out of had, the this post offened me heres a warning, etc etc.

the forums used to help people more then not, granted there was and is alot of dupe posts, some totally stupid posts, but we had that before and never had devs leave, members leaving.


so lets cut the drama and get back to the old friendlier EQEmu.

I agree. It's pretty lame. I mean back in the day YES if you look in the pigpen i directly insulted people on a post and was repromanded for it. Since then I have been careful about anything i've posted. If it HAPPENS to offend you, i'm sorry but grow up.

only a very few people can make titles ect, actualy Mel is the only non dev that can.

And when I am told by a Dev to give someone a warning and I do and that person freeks out thats not my fault.

Nobody freaked out and used direct insults except for you, i posted it all for all to see. I'm not going to argue with you anymore mattmeck because obviously its pointless to try and get through your trip.

Seriously, if you havent graduated highschool don't go all out trying to have a argument with anybody it makes you look bad. This is not an insult, i don't know if you've graduated highschool or not, merely pointing out from your replies that you don't select your words very carefully at all, The least you could do if you are going to threaten me is to use proper english and hold an educated debate / argument. ***

Sot, please don't say anything about age, I'm sorry but most of the people in all of this drama aren't kids. And there has been kids playing eqemu throughout the hole project, and there use to not be so much drama.

We all need to get over ourselves...imHo.

I am the one person who has any kind of power who is not a member of the devteam. I can, will and have overruled warnings by moderators if I feel they were not done based on the rules.

"The old friendlier EQEmu" would see your account deleted if you disagreed with certain developers or banned if you looked at them wrong on a bad day. That's not my idea of cool, and I'm resigning before I will ever let that happen. You couldn't appeal dick in the old friendlier EQEmu. If a developer took to disliking you your ass was gone and there was nothing you could do about it.

That is NOT entirely true... Look at spike for instance.. He has had 7 or 8 bannings, and talked his way back into the forums as many times.... Back in "The old freindlier EQEmu".....

its still like that on irc. those same kind of people still have op's in irc.eqemu ... and dude didnt you just see me tell that guy to suck a dick?? wheres my warning pm? you see i had a point, but i was so stoned it just came out as 'dude suck penis'. i think i was in a rush or something. still, i deserved something for that post lol.

There's not much I can do about the IRC thing. Suffice to say I've given up on #eqemu for the most part.

Maybe you should've been warned or have gotten a strike for that post. Actually I'm almost affirmative you should have, but I can't catch everything and I'm pretty sure you'll end up banned anyway ;p

You know gayfag~ you sound alot like a friend of mine who's title is now befriended by kramers fine hair. This person being ofcourse bbum. and the fact you joined after he was banned shows a possibility that you might be him. You attack people in the same dumb ass, short stated comments he did, if your not him well I would go as far to say your his relative.

So you do care! Anyways, I was banned 5 times, and this time I just signed up once my IP address finally changed... on a router... it took a long time and at the time I didn't know how to change it. Sorry if I just bumped an old topic lol, it's been a while sense i've had good enough connections with webpages to actually view them. DSL with a linksys router split between 3 computers, a laptop, and a PS2, really slows the crud out of it.

BTW bringing up the topic of back in the day, and bbum... didn't he once give some coding to the devs way back when, or was that maybe someone else...
