Augments

Augments are in, they should be on public CVS in a few hours.

Adding, removing, distilling all works.
Bonuses should be calculated for all implemented bonuses.
They should correctly save/load in to your inventory.
They should correctly appear on your corpse after dying, etc.

There is support for putting them in shared banks, but I think the client will prevent you from doing such.

Have fun.

SQL

I followed the post (forget the link) with the added SQL... and I've had to add SQL to Inv, SharedBank, and Items DB... anything else? Anyone got the full SQL statements for augs? Having a problem when logging someone in, and I don't see much with the errors.

Why would u download source code , if you don't even have the ability to compile it? Pretty lame expecting that someone will compile it for you, use the precompiled or learn to compile.

buy me a compiler and I will stop asking.

Xorith 11-18-2004 02:50 PM

That was rather rude, Darkened. What's it your business why he downloads source or not? You know, some people can actually make sense enough of source, and perhaps he was looking over the changes made to see if he wants to risk it?

People need to leave their ignorance at the door.

Dougnutz 11-20-2004 10:14 AM

Where is this code for augments, I'm drooling at the thought of atting this stuff into Tavis's world.

I didn't see any reference to the code on the eqcvs

I know a lot of people want to try out doodmans new code, I sure do

Doodman 11-20-2004 02:07 PM

Are you looking at the source in CVS or the precompiled binaries?

LE is typically the only one the builds and checks in windows binaries. He's been out for a bit, so not sure when they'll arrive.

Dougnutz 11-20-2004 07:44 PM

OK I found the files, Nice work too. I am going to try integrating/grafting it into a 5.5 server.Things are going well. I am hagin a little trouble with the item struct.
so far so good though

Help plz Someone

Im Lead GM on Krusher's Semi Legit server.
I know a lil bit about emu and some c++
But Krusher Add'd all Aug files to the server
When we Try to combine them we get a "Error: Server is not aware of the container type you are trying to use" error
Anyone got a clue on this.
I was thinking it was we need to add a "Birdbath" to Nexus to combine them in but not sure on how to do it.
(We are currently trying to use Aug. Sealer (item id= 66180)
