they are more then likely they are working on it as hard and as much as they can but they have RL maters to attend to as well

yesterday i installed the eqfull .now im patching .but eqemu is "do not patch ".

If it says you can't patch, then you can't patch, wait till next time it's ok to patch.
NEW INSTALLS WILL NOT WORK!

I'm not waiting...I have two EQ directories, one thats up with EQEMU and one with EQlive, that way waiting isn't really what i'm doing...yep

Oh and btw is the classic eq server (peq i think) still available? if it is which expension are they at now?

I'm also one of the few people I know waiting for it to update to Live :)

Brand new member here. Just found this and installed EQ again. Haven't played in a year. Unfortunately, that means I'm in the boat with others waiting for EQEmu to be compatible with the latest patch. Good luck guys!

I don't think anyone has any reasons to complain, it's free and if you want to complain, pay the $12 Sony charges and complain to them. Ridiculous

So basically this means that i have to wait ( i just registered on EQEMU )
until the patch level of the emu is up to the patch level on EQLife to play ?

Seeing that this thread is already 2weeks + old , i can assume this can take
months right ?

Yea it can take pretty long sometimes

What is the latest compatable eq patch date? because the EQ i have on my other computer worked before the patch then i saw the do not patch a long time ago, just wondering what the date of the last patch that worked was...

k hmm when i loaded up a server it said it couldnt open obj2_load.something or something and it is corrupt that i need to repatch it =( oh well I guess ill be waiting like so many others..

does a client clash <always happens> right after the first load in after server select have nething to do with the patch or should i reinstall eq?

Edit: nvrmnd i had an older outdated ver. of eq from another box that i swapped cuz i dropped eq a while back and it wasnt being supported by the latest updates i had from xp so i had to repatch and well we'll see after we are live again
