An EQEmulator First
 

I'd like to take a moment and give a big congratulations to the <a href='Http://www.wintersroar.com'>Winter's Roar Server</a> for achieving 200 players online at once. This has never been accomplished on an EQEmulator Server before. A big hats off to Wiz and the WR Team for all the work they have invested into making the best server they possibly can.

Now, For the 300 Mark! =)

Roughly the begining of 2003, Guild wars server had 200+ people online, on more than one occasion. Its been a long time ago, but it has been done before.

Incorrect. This was only on server select (which is basically never correct), the actual record was somewhere around 150.

Question about EQLive Server Select
 

Do you know if EQLive server select is the same way as EQEmu? That is, are the numbers false most of the time also? Just curious about it...Not really a big deal if it's in my brain or not...Just one of those stupid question I ALWAYS come up with...

Who says EQ1Live is dieing? New MMoGs thinning out server populations is nothing to break a sweat about...

EQlive as lost 1000's of players its dieing and will disapaire one day but we still have good old wr to rock on :) Gratz on reaching 346 :D

EQ lost '1000s' of players to DAoC... and like with DAoC a modest chunk of those players will come back once they realize EQ2 is an inferior product and WoW is a largely white washed treadmill with limited character developement and items with heavy prosciptions and lots of server troubles.

Ultima online was supposed to be dead by now... but it's still growing strong.

Up to 352 now I believe.

And they got a 2nd box, so it's running real smooth now.

New record 397 Gratz :)
