Custom Full PvP Unholy Grounds Server (Alpha Testing)
 

Hi all ive created a custom zone/mobs/loot server with full PVP(no restrictions). Im opening it up for 24 hours so I can get some suggestions for the server so I can apply changes best suitable for the community. Try it out, its called Unholy Grounds Alpha Testing

server crashed, up again

Can't connect to your world. You probably need to open your routers ports so outside traffic can get in.

how about now? I've searched for "Open Router Ports" and configured some stuff... This all seems VERY confusing, Im not good with port forwarding and opening ranges at all

No good. Are you forwarding both UDP and TCP, 9000, and 7000-7100.
You need to forward them to your server's network address example: (192.168.1.5)

Ive only forwarded to TCP 9000, and i do it through the firewall>exceptions tab... Im not sure how to forward a range like 7000-7100 and im not sure how to forward it towards my servers network address which is (192.168.1.3) , mind giving a hand ?

Crush at 50% , spawns a low hp druid orc every 5% of his heatlh that nukes (scripted) ...

Looks good, of course, you'll need to offer a patch for people to get those models loaded into crushbone. Just the crushbone_chr file.
As far as router, google your router name and port forward or something and see if you can find a guide. If you can't figure it out, tell me your router model/brand and i'll see what i can do.

No patch needed, all those models i put in crushbone are global models or models already used in eqlive for the zone =]

My router is :: Linksys Wireless-B Broadband Router (Model: BEFW11S4)

I would kinda need you to guide me after you get the information on my router since I really have no experience on port forwarding whatsoever ... Thank you moydock appreciate the help

Works, but when I created a char, a yellow mob attacks me right off, and has too much regen to kill, so he just kills me over and over... lol

Servers down for tonight until i figure out why the world keeps crashing when someone teleports to the 2nd tier zone(nightmareb) through the zombie teleporter... anyone might have any idea's?

If I had to take a wild guess then this post will fix your problem, If it does not post some more info about it.

hmmm i didnt really get your post you didnt post a solution :P

Along with the server crashing when someone gets teleported by the npc, it ALSO crashed when someone attacks another player (PVP)

did you goto the post i had Linked? That could be the cause of your first problem. Click on the work "post" in my above reply, if you have not yet done so.

Ahh okay i guess i didnt notice the link while i was reading...

I know i have one or 2 items in the newbie zone that drops off the noob orcs that have Unknown Spell Effect as a spell clicky for the items ; but do you think it can cause the server to crash when someone zones or attacks another player?

and its still crashing... after like 4 people connect it crashes aswell... strange

Could it be possible 1 computer isnt enough so it crashes?

Anyone know if having a not-strong enough computer can be the problem for the server crashing for minor things like getting teleported by an NPC to another zone, or pvp attack causes crashing?

Would I be able to use 2 computers to keep the server up and running for better performance?

Before you start dismantling your computer...

Is world crashing or just the zone? Submit an excerpt from your logs, otherwise it's pretty hard to pinpoint the problem.

Here are my logs, not sure what the problem is so im hoping of you guys can assist me , thanks in advance. What i did was I logged in 2 characters, and I started attacking one of them (pvp) and 5 seconds after the first hit the server disconected.

I have the last log which I think shows why the server crashed but the forums isnt letting me post it its giving me this error.

There are no images in my logs heh
