Hey Manix, thought it might help to let you know I tried logging in, but it is still kicking me back.

Yes I havent thrown in the towel yet.New router and just got it set up.Someone please try logging in and let me know if you arre succesful please.

BTW is that kenian? i just tried logging into your server and boot boots me back to login btw do you have a dynamic ip or static ip? not sure if it makes a difference but it may if your ip keep changing

Yes its Kenian.Thanks for letting me know.Will keep working on it.Another program that Iv been trying unsuccesfully to run,I was able to open ports for it with the new router and it works.So I am very hopeful.Hopefully Ill have an update soon.Yes Iv got a static IP set up.

If I were more technically inclined when it comes to setting up a server, I would offer as much help as I could. Unfortunately, all I can do to help is keep trying to log on. Once I am able to get on though, I will do my part in helping you work out the bugs.

OK guys,Iv been working on it all day.Go ahead and give it a try if ya like.If you manage to get in,PoK has buffers,spell scribers,skillsetter,gate potions and all that.

Thanks for the updates guys.Keep trying if you have a chance.I keep making changes everytime I hear of unsuccesful attempts.And each one I think I definetly got it.One of these times Ill be right.

Make sure you are setting up your ports in PORT RANGE FORWARDING and not PORT FORWARDING or PORT TRIGGERING. Setting them up in any of the other port configs does not work the same as port RANGE forwarding. If there is another issue blocking players, you can test it by setting up your server as a DMZ until you can get the port forwarding figured out. Setting it as a DMZ opens up all ports to that server. You don't want to leave it like that permanently (for security reasons), but that will tell you for sure if the ports are your issue or not. If it works, then it is a port issue for sure. If it doesn't work as a DMZ, then you have another issue blocking users. It could be a firewall. It could also be a proxy if you run through one (normally that is only the case in dorms/universities).

Thanks for the advice Trevius.I had DMZ enabled and people still werent able to log in.I am very confident I have a static IP set up,I am just a little confused if EQ is utilizing it or another IP.I also just changed some config.xml settings I think I might have missed.I am really winging it here but I know I am very close to getting this straight.I am sure its just 1 silly setting somewhere.Made another adjustment though soo...LMK.

Still no luck here either. I suppose you could try tech support with your ISP or the company that made your router.

tried again 5 mins ago and still cant login,keep it up man im sure u will find the problem soon
