ACCOUNT SMS message?
 

The ONLY method to reset the game login is the SMS code verfication and it doesn NOT work whatever needs to happen to send codes please fix or let people reset game passwords in another way because lots of people seem to be locked out becauser of this current bottleneck

Why do they use SMS messages of all things?

Grepping our phone numbers so they can sell them to phone spammers?

Didn't play since January. Can't remember which password I used. I get that when trying to reset with SMS.

Trying to change my password for my accounts and I do not receive the SMS codes. Now I receive a message stating that my SMS number has been blacklisted due to too many attempts. Can someone please point me in the direction of maybe getting this resolved?

Never received a SMS verification code. We could really use some help. People have quit playing because of this issue.

I think the developers no longer care about their players. This has been an ongoing issue for a very long time and there hasn't been any solution to the problem. Instead of SMS, they could use 2FA, a more reliable method.

The current SMS verification system is completely borked.
"There is already a pending SMS Verification request for this account, IP, or SMS Number"
So basically, my accounts and characters are gone forever

Only Rogean has access to that system as he owns the login server. There is nothing else any other eqemulator devs can do other than offer alternative login servers for new accounts (e.g. PEQ login servers)

Just tried to set up SMS on my account since I'm looking to play again. Have yet to receive a text with a code.

I am also in this boat, trying to come back and play with a friend. No Email was received to confirm SMS. Waiting 7 Days for it to auto flag is a bit long.

I understand Rogen is the only one who handles the login server. Hopefully he can read the forums and see the amount of frustration he is causing.
