Problems of my own
 

Well I got everything installed, I can't use EQW for some reason, I just get a blank window, and it just sits there aimlessly. When I use 'eqgame.exe pathme' I get all the way to the character select screen and can't continue from there. What do I do? Im stuck. It would be better if someone would IM me on AIM. Hogosha8 is my screenname

Is your screen set to 16 bit color? and are you using the latest patch? if so you and 1000 other people are experiencing the infamous "rtfwp" bug.

now eqw works, now im trying the server

it still kicks me off
and when I try to login to gotfrags, it says I have invalid username and password

Did you goto getfrags and set up a username and password? And is your eqhost.txt file pointing at getfrags for the login server?

yes I did

make sure you didnt typo it when you registered or when logging in.

i retyped everything atleast 50 times
still nothing

are you sure the case is right? try upper and lowercase first letter in login.

btw, 10 times easier to use IRC to chat, rather than message board :)

yeah, but I dont have it installed, but i think i may have the installation, whats the IRC server for this?

get mIRC, very easy to use.

the latest patch DOES NOT work with EQ Emu 0.2.3. you will not get past char select screen. wait for new release
