Guys, why are we banning people for little to no reason....

Admittedly, I wasn't sitting around in IRC today, but Mem, while sometimes rash is well meaning...


I think we need to discuss who needs to be OPS in IRC, and who needs to have ADMIN rights on the boards if this is the way things are going to be. This is becoming a very unhealthy trend for the EQEMU community if you ask me....

First of all, the devs have repeatidly stated 5.0DR versions are NOT supported. I think you deserve to be banned in any case for posting/supporting a post bashing IRC.

After looking at the logs, I'd say I have to agree with dev's assessment. He was being quite rude...

You said something about either devs being lazy or telling the devs to do something(don't recall exactly what if you can't tell ;-) ). You don't do that when a project is being done for free.

People that work on this have real lives and real jobs, this is all done for free. Keep that in mind. No one here owes you anything.

Ok that last part holds no revelance over anything. It's a chat channel they do not need to constantly talk about eqemu or what plan they have at that very second..dev's do not equal drones. they are people. In EQ when someone ask me how lifes going i dont say..well it's ..like this mob i took on the other day cause i'm a evil SK rar. Dont forget with your plan like they said it'd be upload after upload when people logged in..would you really wanna play on a server who's connection is bogged down by uploadings? you'd last 5 secs before LD. These arn't Big AoL or Yahoo! servers there regular people servers big difference.

There is something wrong in a place where people are made to feel threatened to speak for fear of engaging the WRATH OF DEVS/ADMINS/OPS...but thats just my opinion.
